At the end of  the two day Emotional Resiliency Train the Trainer participants will have gained  an understanding of disaster related emotional stressors, signs, symptoms, and mitigation techniques. Participation in the techniques in training module, role play and teach-back sessions will provide participants with a solid foundation to deliver Emotional Resiliency Training to disaster volunteers and ancillary workers.

Participants readiness to deliver the training will depend on previous training experience as well as follow on practice. As with all skills, the more one studies and  practices the better a trainer they will become.

The most successful participants have some experience teaching or training, a baseline understanding of disaster response and the risk they pose to responders and volunteers.

A passing grade includes 80% or higher on the written test and satisfactory teach-back sessions that reflect the participants level of knowledge gained and the ability to deliver on the topic.
